How Do I Know When I Need a VA?

There are several situations in which it might be time to consider hiring a virtual assistant, otherwise known as a VA.

You don’t have time to do things you enjoy doing outside of work.

You have more work than you can handle.

You are feeling behind on everything.

You only talk about work.

You are starting to feel burned out and trapped in your own business.

You know you could grow if you only had a team (even if it’s just one more person).

You need help, but can’t afford to hire an employee.

You had an intern, but then the intern graduated and decided to do something else.

You find yourself working more IN your business instead of ON your business.

You are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

You realize that you only make money when you are able to work. When you are sick or need to vacation, the income stops.

A long time has passed and all of the above have been rolling around in your mind.

IT IS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE.

How do I know this? I have lived this firsthand. After hiring my own virtual assistants, I have had time to enjoy making art, spend time with friends more often, take an elderly family member to appointments, and drive my husband to work when one of our vehicles was in the repair shop.

My newfound freedom inspired me to start a virtual assistant agency to help other small business owners.

Focus on what you do best and delegate the rest.

Start with one task you know how to do well, but isn’t something that you, as the business owner, need to be doing anymore. Chances are, you will wish you had hired a virtual assistant sooner.
